Into Icecrown: The Weekly Update
Unhappy is the land that is in need of Heroes.
As another week passed, yet more guilds have returned to Icecrown to face its new challenges as the Heroes they are required to be. Core of Insight sent in a group of 25 heroic raiders and in the progress defeated both Lady Deathwhisper and Deathbringer Saurfang, meaning they have now cleared the Lower Spire in its entirety.

Heroic groups of 10 from numerous guilds have also returned with tales of glory. MCO have defeated Deathwhisper and Saurfang meaning that they have now cleared the Lower Spire. Nox came close to clearing the Lower Spire, however Lady Deathwhisper elluded them.
Elswhere in the Citadel the Horde guilds of Aftermath and Wrath have successfully sent groups of 10 heroic raiders to clear out the Plagueworks and the Frostwing Halls.

0 2In the regular version of Icecrown Citadel, a group of 25 from Raid to Nowhere defeated Blood-Queen Lana'thel before making a start on the Frostwing Halls and rescuing Valithria.
4 4Toppling the Throne: 10 Man Clears
The wreckage of my past keeps haunting me.
Near the Frozen Throne the forces of the Alliance have been preparing their strike, gathering together their weapons and their willpower to go forth and fight The Lich King. This week groups of 10 from Raid to Nowhere and Insanity of Fate took on the challenge, rallying themselves to fight Arthas and refusing to give up until they were victorious.
5 3Into Icecrown: Anarchy and Chaos
No matter how we try to win this war it never ends.
As another week passed, some guilds have yet again returned to Icecrown to challenge it anew, with groups of 25 heroic raiders from Core Of Insight and Wrath launching themselves into an all out Gundam Gunship battle near the Lower Spire.
In addition, heroic groups of 10 from Aftermath and Core Of Insight have stormed their way through Icecrown Citadel this week, taking on wing after wing in their furious onslaught. Aftermath have cleared the Lower Spire and the Crimson Halls in their entirety and have defeated Rotface and Festergut in the Plagueworks. Core Of Insight's progress was much the same.
Heroic groups of 10 from Wrath have also returned, defeating Marrowgar, Deathwhisper, and the Gunships in the Lower Spire, before also defeating Festergut and Rotface in the Plagueworks, while Alternate Reality stopped after Marrowgar and the Gunships.

1 1In the regular version of Icecrown Citadel, groups of 25 from Soulriders of the Felwen and Immersion defeated Professor Putricide and a group of 25 from Soul of the Ice brought death to Deathbringer Saurfang. Groups of 10 also made progress, with Insanity of Fate striking down Sindragosa and Sharks ending Professor Putricide's experiments.

Sceptre and Crown must tumble down.
As guilds progressed through Icecrown Citadel their main purpose was to slow down the forces of the scourge and prevent them from wreaking more destruction on the world... but the time for dealing with the riff-raff has passed, and now these guilds find themselves up against the Lich King himself. Many have fallen, but some have put up a valiant fight and been to grab victory from the jaws of defeat. On February 22nd two groups of 10 from MCO and Nox put up a valiant fight, and when the battle ended they found themselves standing above the body of Arthas. The following day Alternate Reality joined them in their celebrations.
3 3Into Icecrown: Heroic Havoc
The whole Earth is the tomb of heroic men.
In the wake of victory comes new challenges, and following successes within Icecrown Citadel some guilds have returned to face the terrors of Icecrown anew, and in the time since they last passed through, the Lich King's forces have grown stronger. Groups of 25 heroic adventurers from Core Of Insight and Wrath have returned to the Lower Spire to defeat the skeletal Lord Marrowgar.
Furthermore groups of 10 heroic raiders from Tainted have defeated Lady Deathwhisper, while groups from both Tainted and Aftermath have manned the armaments to shoot opposing Gunships out of the sky.
Over in the regular version of Icecrown, the fight is continuing. A group of 25 from Nox and groups of 10 Soul of the Ice, Beyond Infinity and CakeFM laid Sindragosa to rest, while over in the Crimson Halls a group of 10 from Goblins were putting a stop to Blood-Queen Lana'Thel's scheming.

War is the trade of Kings
The Lich King was waiting. He had watched as the forces of the Horde and Alliance had pushed ever forwards into his abode, spurred ever onwards by their heroes and leaders, and now, at the Frozen Throne, they came face to face. Fierce battles ensued but against all odds on February 16th two groups of 10 from Tainted and Core Of Insight staggered from the Citadel proclaiming their victories and spreading the news of Arthas' demise.

- Elexin : although really, as they were all at 23:00 on the 23rd, I'd assume maybe they just got a bit gung ho. So, its probably 2nd March (or maybe 3rd Feb, if they're older dates)
