Greetings people of Shadowsong. And anyone else who happens to be here

You should now be aware, from various posts on the forum, that we have recently recruited more people into our moderation team. Welcome to them
Since then we have all been discussing how to make use of our improved numbers, and as a result, we've decided that we now have substantially more power to make use of in our attempts to take over the world, so we're going to use it.

A lot of people seized the opportunity to rubbish the current moderation, and as such, its been decided that we will become evil dictators and give you the stricter moderation you so greatly desired, via use of the infraction system. With any luck, this should make SSE a somewhat nicer place in the long run.

Just a few notes in the meanwhile:

Some banter and casual joking we're quite prepared to leave... bit of drama and such never did too much harm, and we know that everyone enjoys it to some extent... but sometimes things just get out of hand.
We aim to cut down on this.


In short, we're making an appeal;

• Please, don't make threads or posts full of utterly pointless spam. You'll receive an infraction for it.
• Please don't respond to threads or posts full of utterly pointless spam with more utterly pointless spam. You'll receive infractions for that too.
• Please be nice to other people. Don't harass or hound them. Don't insult them. You'll get infractions for doing that.
• Please don't bait other people. If you're baited, don't take said bait as an excuse to argue. Don't respond to responses to bait as an excuse to argue. Participants will receive infractions.

Most importantly? Please be nice to the moderators and listen to what they have to say.
Please don't completely ignore the moderators and expect to get away with it. There are more of us now. You won't.
